Dave Cooke, CEO and Board Chair of 100Pedals, Inc., is riding his bicycle across the country to raise awareness of the issue of substance abuse and addiction in our families and communities.
This 64-day, 3600 mile cycling trip begins on Saturday, July 30 in Santa Monica, CA and ends on Sunday, October 2 in New York City. This fifteen state bike ride includes stops in nearly fifty cities, with programs already scheduled in the following cities: Kingman, AZ; Flagstaff, AZ; Amarillo, TX; Tulsa, OK; St. Louis, IL; Springfield, IL; New Lenox, IL (Chicago); Grand Rapids, MI; Detroit, MI; Toledo, OH; Weirton, WV; Pittsburgh, PA; Somerset, PA; Franklinville, NJ; and New York City.

Our children, our families, and our communities can no longer be victimized by the continued, tragic growth of drug related addiction in our society. It is through passionate commitment to awareness, advocacy, and education that much needed change is achieved and realized.
God called me to take action and make a commitment to share his message through my story and my family’s experiences with addiction. At his urging, I accepted the challenge to ride my bicycle across the country and share the message that so desperately needs to be shared.
I am ramping up my effort to the cause of awareness and share the truth about addiction in our communities. This bike ride is a manifestation of my commitment to educate those who need to better understand this problem while providing a message of love and encouragement to those, like me, who are living with the personal, painful experiences of a loved ones addiction.
I am hoping and praying that you will be inspired by this ride and take a moment to discover how you can support this mission.
